What is there to theorize? They're either scouts, Advisor guards, or woodland troopers. I'm leaning towards options two or three myself. It'd make sense for the Combine to pull troops from a garrison in the outlands.

Don't forget that these are being imported into all HL2 games once valve updates everything.

So all your theories wouldnt work.

Eh, that one has the prison guard logo on his right arm so I doubt we'll see those outside of Nova Prospekt.

Na, I think we can open the tabs abit on this thread, you can now talk about graphical improvements....and being truthful, I always thought Alyx looked ugly in Hl2, her hair stook out like I dunno wat and her face didnt look that realistic...but now it does

The 360 version looks best


....for now..., The PC version will look the best after updates, it always will...STEAM FOREVER!!!

I saw HL2 with HDR its O_O. And most noticeable tweak in HLs is Alyx hair...

Yeah, in EP1, Alyx's hair has a lot more detail - it looks fine and soft, almost... fluffy? A huge improvement over HL2, anyway.

I've seen a video on YouTube of the Xbox 360 version of Alyx and she looks like a different character compared to the original Half-Life 2 Alyx. Especially after seeing the part when Gordon gets knocked unconcious then meets Alyx for the first time, it looks much more detailed.

In that particular scene, her facial textures would become less detailed, distorted, and would break up when your up close. In the Ep2 version of Alyx it happens less, and doesn't look as distorted. It still breaks up, but not as much.

Well we did know that more maps are on the way, at least we have a name for one now "CP_Badlands", anyone know if this is a TFC reinvention?
