Achievements

What do the achievements look like when you unlock them during the game? Do they slide up like when you get messages, but rather it mentions your achievement? Or does it pop in like X360?

I don't have TF2 or I'd check myself.

As far as I know, they dont give any sign. You just check the main menu if you think you got one.

Yeah nothing pops-up and you don't get any points or anything for them so while it is being borrowed from the 360/Windows Live system it isn't as nice. Would have been nice if the PC versions could link you your Live account but obviously that won't ever happen with Valve games since Microsoft would require them to use Windows Live instead of Steam.

They have code for a notification system in Steam, i'm sure it's coming sometime around release.
