Adware/Spyware, a headache for us.

Ok guys, I think that everybody has had some problems with those things, and it is a headache to get rid of them, if you can.

My sister or my uncle has the ABILITY to put some adware/spyware in my computer. I dont know, it is something that is born inside of them...


Anyways, I always run such programs like: Bazooka Spyware Scanner, Lavasoft Ad-aware SE and Spybot Search & Destroy. I think most of the people know something about these programs. Well, they do the job. I mean, most of it. There is always something that they CANNOT find at all (and I do update them) such as the Home Page, or some random ad that pops up right in your face while you are concentrated reading something, it can scare the $h17 out of you sometimes..

Well, after I run all those programs and still something left, my only hope is FORMAT my C: and install my stuff ALL OVER AGAIN ;(. Luckly I have another HD where I can save some stuff and all, but its always a pain in the 4$$ to format, install windows xp, update win, install drivers, install games, update drivers, update games... You know..

So, my question is: Is there another program that I can use to help me? Or is there anything that I can do besides FORMATING my PC?

Long live FireFox. The basic mantra in spyware, virus: the less popular the application, the less spyware and viruses are out there. Since most people use Explorer, that's what the virus community is focusing on, leaving us FireFox guys alone

Is firefox a kinda of software that detects and delete spywares or it is a internet navigator?
