Seriously though, why would any sane PC gamer upgrade to Vista between now and then?

I am running Vista, but only because the last game I've played is STALKER - by choice - and I ran that with XP

I still don't even like Vista for day-to-day crap, excluding games, but I'm too lazy to switch back atm

Because myself and many people see no reason to yet. The same applies for Macs; They are a hell of a lot better but the library of games for it is somewhat lacking...

Hold the phone you use internet explorer? Besides IE7 is butt ugly. It won't be an improvement until more and more applications become compatible, and heck many are and more are working on it. The complete rewrite of audio pisses myself and many Creative owners off though I can say that as well.

Vista Users: Shut up we don't care about your piece of crap.
XP Users: Shut up and stop bitching about how you don't need Vista.
Unix/linux/whatever Users: Keep twiddling your thumbs.
