Ok, you can only choose one favorite. Mine would have to be Terminator 2.

I believe you've got the wrong forum.

Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
Very funny movie. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it. That, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Haven't had a chance to see Dr. Strangelove in years. I dunno why they wont show it on TV. Great film too.

mhmm. tough one. I'd have to go with Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Scarface, followed by the original Dawn of the Dead.

Scarface would've been my second choice, though...

It's a toss up between Requim for a Dream, City of God, and Boogie Nights. All three are favorites of mine.

Meh, I gotta mention Fight Club too. Such a well done adaptation of the novel (definately read Chuck Palahniuk if you have a chance)

Requiem is literally right in front of me but I still haven't watched it..

Atm, my favourite film is Equilibrium.

You should go to the Films TV and Films. But I think the 3rd LOTR is the best.

A tie: Fight Club, Godfather (man, no one's mentioned this one yet), Dr. Strangelove.

Memento just love it,not a huge cast of characters, only 3 really but so cool, the disjointed backwards narrative, guy pearce is brilliant, underrated actor

Have you seen David Lynch's Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway?

If you like figuring things on your own, they're two of the best you can get.

Mulholland Drive is not a movie you can get in one single viewing. You need repeat viewings--and do not miss a single scene, or you won't get anything. Really.

I've seen The Machinist, and it's quite good.

Haven't heard of The Hitcher, though. Will check it out. :)

Donnie Darko
Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind
Garden State

Tied between the three... :p

Lock Stock and Two smokin barrels :) best film EVER!

aw man.. i got a whole list of 60 odd films that i love, and i love them all the same. to me, no one film stands out above the others.

Saving pvt ryan, city of god, lock stock, resevoir dogs, fight club, layer cake, snatch, kill bills, the pianist, schindlers list, the others.. it goes on and on... i love them all.

La Haine.

Aliens for a less obscure nomination.

Wasn't The Hitcher that film with Rutger Hauer? Such a shame he got fat and vanished.

yeah i think so,he was the crazed hitchhiker, good film with a cool setting,a lonely, desolate stretch of desert road, jennifer jason leigh's last scene is still pretty shocking even by todays standards *shivers*

La haine is great too,got the dvd 4 xmas
