Hey guys i have a question..if i have a AMD at the moment and plan on getting a P4..do i have to buy new parts for the P4 motherboard? or can i use the ones i currently have

But they'll be no manufacturer's warranty so make sure it has atleast a 30 day warranty with wherever you buy it from. Then you can get a good fan seperate. That way you can pick which one you want, maybe a nice Volcano 10. That's what i use for my AthlonXP 3000+, seems to be pretty good.
