So, were all the murders in his head? And he was just insane?
AmishSlayer said:My friend insists that the whole thing was covered up by his lawyer...but I say otherwise. I think it was all in his head and he's nuts
Best line of the move:
"HEY PAUL!!!"
Grey Fox said:I believe they did take place. The reason those bodiesi n the house were coverd up is because it would have ruined the business of that woman, I mean 6 dead bodies found in a rich appartement buillding, that would have put her out of business, no one would wanna live there if it was that unsafe, and as far as the lawyer go's, we'll he talkes almost every week with bateman but still does not recognize him, he is just an idiot.
I watched a biography on Easton-Ellis. It's all in his head. Plus the thing about "Feed me stray cat" and whatnot, as outlined by someone above meBohonkie said:The book isn't conclusive either way. I've read it, I've discussed it, there's no indication that what happens is true or not. Ellis wrote the book in such a way that it was open to the reader. I happen to agree with you, that it was all in his head, but it can easily be taken the other way, depending on how you look at the novel and what message Ellis was intending to portray. It probably has a lot more meaning if you believe that all the murders took place, ironically.
