well, so what about the States with less population ? It's not the States who decide, it's the people!

I do not hate the people of the United States of America. I do not hate the nation of the United States of America in itself.

Then why burn its flag? You have not told me yet. I'd like to see it typed out here. From you, Sprafa. Im not taking anyone elses interpretations.

But you are effectively talking about protesting his right to free speech.

No, im not. I never organized protest. My original thought was its kinda dumb for me to have to sitback and let people run "Americans" over, for the sake of Forum popularity.

I think its stupid, anytime an "American" says something the whole world rolls over loopi-eyed and in disbelief. Anytime someone else besides an, "American", says something its expected I, "listen and respect his opinion." I only respect opinions that are true.

...as far as his burning the flag and by that opposing that viewpoint exclaims "omg he teh hates other peoples opinions", let me address that statement by saying it was not my thought.

My thought, or rather question, is to pursue on why its even nessecary to dog out the Government in burning the countries official flag. Citizens sown the original flags and flag design, so by burning they're idea, it represents to me the burning of our citizens dreams.

Now, if he wants to protest policy, he should do it a way that seperates the citizen from the politician. Then, I might be inclined to not over-aggreso.

So can you answer my question? Why did you use the American Flag burning?

Read Neutrino's posts on the other thread :p

Its obvious they're opinions are both very different. I dont believe Sprafa even personally expressed it. People, who are interpreting it themselves, are the ones posting their thoughts.

Ohwell Sprafa. You had a chance to defend your opinion, and I think sometime, you might regret not defending it.

That's the point.

It was an image. You see in it what you want to see. You can see a piece of cloth being burned, or you can see a symbol.

it's so obvious what the flag burning means ...I've seen americans do it, I dont know why it's such a big deal ...damn some of you wear your patriotism on your sleeve ...it's damn annoying to say the least

What do you see?

I see a symbol. Not of a nation. Not a people. But of actions of a Government.

And I condone that flag burning under that perspective, but I do not support it.

So whats the third party point here, CptStern?

hmmm, on the threat of sounding repetitive ....what are you blathering on about?

it's the equivalent of:

"I know what you are but what am I"

...uh...I'm rubber, your glue. What ever you say to me, bounces off and sticks to you?

That's just wrong.

Well, would they know about people who helped to enable and support the, "Tennessee Commission?"

What it was for: to terrorize and overule public statements made by African Americans.
