ITS MY BIRTHDAY ! , not that i can celebrate it or anything because i have a ton of exams coming up. Its my 21st btw , any thoughts on how i should celebrate ? (once i can)

On my 21st birthday I went gambling for the first time. It wasn't the greatest, but it was 100 times better than what I've done in all my birthdays past... nothing.

i would leave, but as it turns out there are some decent people on this forum, and a lot of decent threads. i mean, i searched this forum a few months before i joined, and i saw slot of sheepo's posts, and thought he was a cool guy. but for some reason he has to be a dick to me when i join.

Your posts suck. You try too hard to gain the forum's approval. You don't think before you post. You throw yourself all over the forums without any reserve. Your jokes aren't funny. You've turned into the forum-equivalent of the "friend" who hangs out with them, but isn't actually liked by anyone. You are Arnold Rimmer, you are Belgium, you are Wormtail, you are Peugeot, you are the common cold.

The forum generally doesn't like newbies, there once was a newbie section where there were constant threats of anal rape. Normally the newbie idiocy wears off after a month or so, after the newbie sees how things operate. You have never broken out of that. In order to gain acceptance from this forum, you need to:

A: Think before you post. Ask yourself, "Is this as funny as I think it is?" "What will the other members think of this?" "Am I asking a serious question?" "Am I giving a serious answer?"

B: Stop trying to fit in so much. Just be yourself.

C: Use proper grammar and punctuation. This includes using complete sentences and capitals.

D: Make sure that you at least bring in some original content. Nobody wants to see things that have been posted before.

I mean, I knew a lot of you guys though about me like this. I just didn't know how to put it right.

Just don't describe me as a Peugeot.

I was being nice to him. I showed him most/all of his posting faults, and offered suggestions to improve them. Go ahead and cut Sheepo and wpj though. But I fear what would happen if Munro decided to have himself a nice juicy steak.

alrighty then ... The day went on as usual , studied a bit, attended an exam review and then just before going home i found out that one of my friends worked along with my sis and planned a little dinner for me . It was mostly a family thing since all my other friends had finals to study for. I did however get a kick ass circuit cake which i thought was quite apt because my final is on "circuits and systems" :) .
