It was from 7 months ago, when you said that i was a baby killer for wanting to go to Iraq, then you apologised and said that i might not be a baby killer but the people i'll be with are. And i hope you realise that the average soldier has brought more to the free world than any protestor, 99% of protestors are completely unwilling to do half of what a soldier is willing to do for freedom and to protect their loved ones.

I really do seriously think you have personal problems with people in the military due to your constant attack of everything military, if you have, i hope you realise one day that it's you that has the problem with the military and not the military that has a problem with you.

yes yes, I've heard the recruiter schpiel before ...too bad that in reality it seldom has little to do with "protecting freedom" ..had you said "protecting the interests of the nation" then I might be inclinded to agree with you, however that doesnt have as nice a ring to it

what can i say except that you're wrong ...see I think the problem lies in the fact that you are unable to distinguish the difference between the institution and the individual soldier. I also think since you have a personal stake in this all (you're going to be/are in the military) you naturally see everything as a personal attack on your belief system ..wlell either stop being so defensive or tough noogies; learn to deal with it

Long story short: There are soldiers, probably a great deal of them, who truly believe that they are fighting for freedom in the East. However, their beliefs are built on a false premise - the premise that the war is for peace.
