cos it combines the 2 jobs of reaping and seperating off the grain, which makes up harvesting .

It could be because of that but what does the building do with the material it eats up?

Also why WOULD humans build a building to level a city. We have the atom bomb, a far more effective method (that sounds really bad ).

Wesisapie, youll notice all the freedom fighters wear the same uniform. Its probably a prison uniform. You probably help liberate them at the start of the game.

We are discussing this cos Barney is wearnig a uniform of what is currently thought of as the combine soldiers. So they can't all be aliens. The combine could be a parasite that encompasses a number of races to their cause, like Alau said. That would be another explanation. That would also make them 1 species.

Presumably these posters are put up by the Combine... They all have the same logo on them as the resistance fighters have on their backs.

That blue one on the left has what looks like a handcuff on it, which makes sense, because bugbait clearly takes place in a prison.

The unsettling thing is the other one, which seems to show a crowd full of people stretching back out of sight. Admittedly, it's pretty hard to make out. But to me, it looks like those old photos of crowds of people throwing the Nazi salute, like this:

Very disturbing. Maybe the crowd is just waving, or maybe they're rioting, or something. Either way, it's a weird poster.

Anybody have any thoughts? Am I reading too much into this, and is that just some funky pattern on the poster? If it's not, what does this mean?

How can you see a resembalance like that? Do you have nazis on the brain or something?

...and even if that poster did look anything like what your dreaming of.....WHY DOES IT ****ING MATTER?
