Anyone else have this happen?

I'm now actually starting to dream about hl2...it's pathetic...but incredibly awesome at the same time...it's like playing the game in your sleep...and everything that you expected it to be was true...the dream went like this...a friend and I went to the basement of this abondoned building...in the basement we found these ancient computers...we turned them on and they had hl2 on them...I was then playing the game in my sleep...it was so fun I couldn't wake up...it all resembled something along the lines of the traptown video (that's my favorite vid)...and the zombies were throwing stuff at me...this one zombie threw a barrel at me...but I shot it and it came back and hit + killed him...it was so fun...

I personnaly had a nightmare where i've been eaten twice by a giant shark while i was on a little wood plank ... :|

I have dreams like that.

But sometimes i have dreams of when im going somewhere like school i might almost get hit by a falling rail then when i wake up go to school i remember "wait i was talking to her then... so i jumped to the side and the rail almost hit me.

I got really freaked out for about a week.

when I'm stressed I have half awake dreams about slimy monsters climbing up walls and snakes on the floor.

I once dreamt there was a bomb on the floor and ran for the door before it blew up. I was pretty embarrased when I woke up half way to the door and the wife was pretty pissed that I actually left her with the "Dream Bomb"

U lucky sob "Pointless"! thats the coolest dreams ever! I have a friend who can control some of his sex-dreams, thats ever nicer I'd say... The most freaky dreams I can tell u about, of my own, are deja vous where Im thinking "hey this is a deja vous" in the dream... !

You must be aware that you are dreaming before you can control your dreams.

Try looking at your watch whilst you are dreaming the time should be still or fragmented (if its a digital watch)

Once you realise you're dreaming control away and do that thing you've always wanted to do with Britney and Christina

Actually the correct term is 'Lucid Dreaming', and yes, it's possible once your conscious realizes your dreaming.

Check out the below link, it's a good F.A.Q. on how to train yourself to become Lucid more easily. It's not that hard to do either, if I mentally remind myself before I go to bed I can usually obtain lucidity that night.

It's quite fun really, It reminds me a lot of The Matrix. You realize you're dreaming, and you can suddenly go... "hmm, Let's change scenery to a long road" and BOOM, scenery changes, etc. Not to mention the fun you can have with the 'people' you thought were part of the 'real world'. Throw somebody against a wall, change the guy chasing you into a midget, w\e.

I actually just remembered that I did have a dream about Half-Life 2 a few days ago, but I can't remember anything about it (doh!).

haha there's no way any of your dreams could of been wierder than mine... first dream i had about hl2 i was fighting a fifty foot version of the boss dude from doom 2, the one with the rocket launcher for a hand, i think his name was cyberdemon. anyways he had an ion cannon on his hand this time. and there was a soldier in each corner shooting healthpacks into the air... it was wierd... anyways the other dream i had, it was 12 days till the release of hl2 and there, sitting on my desk was a copy of the final version. i was like yes and installed it than when i started playing there were monsters dancing and all this wierd shit... it was like something out of a music video with music and dancing... yeah... i proceded to goto these forums right after and talk about how much it sucked. i love my dreams
