Apple Haters 50.cal The iPhone 4

i'd like to see a target about 25 yds behind to see how much the bullet was offset after passing through that.

Even if I don't like Apple and think the iPhone 4 is a overpriced piece of flawed shit, they still did waste money. Could have used it for apps and stuff.

But that was still an awesome video.

Eh, no different than people who smash consoles or TVs. All entertaining to watch, but cant really get mad if they waste their own money.

The guy laughing at the beginning was pretty retarded. Good video overall, I guess.

> people who haven't seen a "let's shoot this thing we don't like and put it on youtube" video before

"OMG what a waste!"

I remember one where they bought an xbox 360 on launch day and smashed it in the parking lot while people were still in line waiting to get theirs. There's actually a whole website dedicated to it, I think.

Wow, held together remarkably well considering it just had a ****ing .50 cal bullet blast through it.

The real crime is capitalizing the word 'the' when it isn't the first or last word of the title.

Well, looks like the iPhone's good for something after all.

Surprised how little damage that bullet did really.

Thats just my way of writing headings.

I did it in school, at Uni for notes etc etc.

Its Just The Way I Like To Write Headings.

And it really annoys me when companies have their names in lower case. Like ''gap'' instead of ''Gap'' or ''GAP''.

Unimportant words seem to avoid the capitalisation, usually, like if and and. Not sure about the, though.

Youre right, ''the'' is usually non-capitalized. ]

''of'' is another example.

For example, ''Guardians of the Gates''. Thats how its supposed to be written. But I like tearing up the box.

Is "to 50.cal" a real verb?

This ...

<3 dynasty, I just kid!

... and this.

Also my contribution: How bad of a shot do you have to be to almost miss the thing with that rifle?

Perhaps the scope wasn't zeroed correctly.

Well shame on them if that's the case. I would have spent a few extra rounds to calibrate the thing if I was committing to destroying an expensive piece of hardware.

Aren't those rounds themselves like 10 bucks a pop?

Yeah, the 'i' in the Apple tech annoys me.

But then the fact that companies like Toyota named one of their cars in the same way does it a bit of justice.

The Toyota iQ that is. Also known as the Toyota iCan. That ***t is smaller than a decimal.

Still makes me laugh every time.

It's an anti-material round meant to penetrate armor. If it expanded on impact it would be useless considering its size and cost.

And no, sighting rifles is not a walk in the park.

Okay, well perhaps I'm underestimating the price of sighting a rifle that costs $5-$10 a shot, but I'd be pretty annoyed if I owned a rifle whose sight was THAT far off.

I'm of course assuming he didn't shoot the thing from very far away either.

Isn't the Barrett designed to penetrate material? In which case a clean through-and-through shot with little collateral damage wouldn't be that unusual...

Do you know what zeroing a scope means? It doesn't mean something done at the factory and you can't change it. You tune it yourself depending on the range of your target. It depends entirely on range. A rifle like that was probably zeroed for something like 500 meters, and if they didn't bother to change the zeroing so that the crosshairs aim at the point of impact at a target within like 10 meters, then it's going to be way off.

The barrett isn't designed to penetrate anything; however it is designed to shoot the .50bmg round which comes in many different penetrating flavors.

Yeah, I figured it had to be done by the user. I just meant pride of ownership would inspire me to make sure it's zeroed properly. Would the change in distance cause it to be off to the side though? I am admittedly un-educated on this subject.

Gee it sure sounds like someone's not reading around here.
