How are you all feeling? Can you believe we've been through so many arguments, laughs, debates, and good times together, and now the one thing that started it all is so close you can actually see it. How are you all holding up?
 
I think game will come out in November, but that's just me.
But anyway, I am feeling like that right now:

It feels like it's months left. Don't know why. :|
 
Hehehe. If there's no gold anouncement Monday/Tuesday I think it's slipped. But like I said in another thread I think it'll slip to Oct 15 at the latest.

Overall though I'm still pretty excited!
 
I reckon they are hiding it all until about 1 week or until its been shipped out already :\
 
I feel great about it! I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of HL2.

P.S. Man, I just wanted to know how people felt, and the community gets all angry at me, even the mods. I need some time alone...... :(
 
I'm feeling tense, because I only just ordered a new computer today, which should take around 9 days to ship... but if it slips up, I'll have to resort to playing on this crappy rig for a bit :/
 
god i hope ur new comp slips till the 1st to be delivered..... just so you suffer that little bit more! lol

Feeling like when I was 12 couldnt sleep waiting for christmas... its come down to the wire and I soil myself daily

Abom, i feel your pain. Only I wont get a new computer until next spring(d'oh).

Anyways i'm still a bit dissapointed at valve becuse they said they will release new info some new movies (not HDR) and when they said that I was really looking forward to them.

Right now, if they release the game on the 30th I'm happy. No point on releaseing anything new in terms ov videos and info because the game is so close.
 
well one things for sure: my shotgun is gonna run outta ammo once the game is delayed.
 
I have a bad feeling HL2 could never be in store September 30th...

Maybe via STEAM but distribution to the stores take atleast 2 weeks (burning, boxing etc. ) unless they run 24 hours per day and full capicity

A bloodstaind crowbar can be really convincing for them to deliver your pc on time :cool:

How I feel right now, well pretty much the same really. Just afraid every day I visit these boards that an official delay statement has been made... :\
 
1024x768+FSAA=Faster than 1280x1024 with no anti aliasing and you get the same quality.
 
Has new rig got a spangly new 9800 pro in it abom?

If so i hate u :-(
 
my vid card is the same as the monkey but i got a 1.7 p4 and 1 gig ram which should make a nice difference. Whats the stats of the computer your getting.

Heh, yeah, pretty much the same! Except I have a 120Gb HD and only a 17" monitor.

For me it always feels like games this big aren't close at all, because I'm just looking at the screenshots and stuff and saying "Yes this game's gonna be awesome!" and then I look at the calender and I see it's only 10 days until release and I'm like "HOLY SHIT HL2 IS SOO CLOSE!"
 
If one cd press can press one cd in 3 seconds (like somebody said here) one cd press running 24 hours for 7 days should be able to produce 172800 cd's. Now imagine ten or more cd presses like that...! So is it so inconceivable that it can be done in a week ?
 
It's not even inconeivable if it was 2 days before the 30th, they can mass produce without a problem.
