^Samei have a very small taste for junk food...it's just so....eh
I have no patience [...] to grow something I want to eat right now!
What really bugs me is that it's very difficult, if not impossible, to get healthy food out. I could make sandwiches, which is only any cheaper than buying lunch out if you use the shittest quality stuff. The cost of making a lunch that's nice, healthy AND filling is ridiculous. And the time and effort just isn't worth it, I don't spend a lot of time at home and when I am at home I can't be arsed to make sandwiches. Defo not in the morning when I struggle to get up anyway.
Sandwiches/pasta salads etc from the supermarket are generally awful for you. They cram them full of cheese, bacon, mayo and things like that...all of which I love, but you can't eat them every day! And a single sandwich isn't enough food, yet still most of them have over 600 calories in and loads of fat and salt.
You can get the odd "healthy option", but they taste crap and you wouldn't want to eat it every day. Other than that, your choices are the local bakers or what have you (again, they stuff everything full of cheese, bacon or mayo and bread itself is also really calorific, probably 500 calories in just the baguette before you even put anything in it). Fast food, need I say any more?
The local caff is always good grub and reasonable, but again it's all deep fried stuff. Fine if you're a manual labourer, terrible if you sit in an office all day.
I don't eat unhealthily by choice, usually just because it's such a pain in the arse or too expensive to eat well.
Then if you want dinner out, again, none of it is healthy. It's not always convenient to eat at home. If you do eat at home, the healthy stuff is expensive and time-consuming to make. What can you do?
$7.00 for bananas? I find that unbelievable. Either you bought a small banana tree or you live in New York.
I do but those bastards are practically in everything. But anyways like Lays chips (and a number of others) have only potato, oil, and salt as the ingredients. The burritos probably are ****ed with preservatives but I've had them since I was a young kid (though tbh I haven't had them in a long time).Wait, I thought you hated preservatives DEATHMASTER.
