I don't personally think that porn stars are prostitutes. I know people that say, "Well being a porn star is not a real job!", but the truth is.. what is a real job?!?! There is no definition in the dictionary that has a exact definition saying what a real job is. Therefore they are just trying to make a living like you and me. Only they get to fool around with hot women all day :hmph:

For the record, I have no problem with the concept of prostitution. Its just an exchange of money for goods/services, like any other business transaction.

gick, good 4 you, I myself do have a problem with it, because alot of prostitutes, atleast over here in Sweden, are heavy drugaddicts, and thus, they pretty much force themselves into it, AND their customers fund their addictions, so imo it's not like any other business transaction.

I agree. Prostitution in itself isn't evil, but the side-effects of it makes it unacceptable to have in a modern country.

Why do drug addicts turn to prostitution? Because it pays incredibly well and it's work that anyone can do.
Welcome to capitalism 101. If being a barmaid paid ?100 an hour, you'd have lots of drug addicted barmaids too. Should we ban well paying, low skilled work?
Incidentally, the majority of prostitutes are not drug addicts, and the ones that are are better off being prostitutes than criminals.
