You'd have to say goodbye to pretty much all forms of personal enjoyment... video games, personal computers, etc. At least for a very very long time.

i'm not saying that communist was conducted right in USSR, why can't you have video games during communism?(theoretical or "ideal")

I don't want everything in my life to be regulated by the government.

All of you liberals are so concerned about the government applying pressure to the little guy(which I am too), taking away a little freedom here, a little freedom of choice here... yet with Communism, its so much worse. In my opinion... even in an ideal communism.

I'd rather be able to work for my 'own' pleasures in life... while the essentials to life are provided... being a home, food, job, home entertainment system, etc.

I've always heard people who are pro communism, talk about the government regulating everything, and distributing everything to the people 'as they see fit'. Making sure that everybody simply has what they need for a nice, simple life.
