its a fact that the gospels were chosen at the council of niceae, and that some were left out for example because they werent on message enough - the dead sea scrolls for example.

and the point of the book is simple - why are women subservient to men? we all have mothers, we all come from the womb dont we? why then is society so male dominated. its certainly strange to say the least.

i heard somewhere that a theory on why the world is male dominat is because in the stone age, males went out and gathered food (hunted) and female where not strong enough to hunt, therefor they were known as "weaker" gender, it's just a theory though, but i makes sense to me

i dont know how much difference this makes but among lions, females do the hunting, yet the males are still superior.

i think among spiders the females are superior though. im not sure why.

anyone who truely believes men control everything are seriously deluded ...or have never been in a relationship before ...get used to saying "yes dear" guys ..even if you dont agree, you'll find yourself saying that sooner or later. Women like to talk endlessly about relationships, feelings, and emotions while men would rather poke out their eyes with a dull stick than discuss emotions.

men and women are definately equal in terms of ability but there are fundamental differences between the genders (none that should/could be legislated against) ...but mostly in terms of roles and social characteristics.

we had one here in the UK, a great woman called Margaret Thatcher, but she was more like a male in her personality anyway

glass ceilings in companies for women. CEOs who are women? the numbers are very low i think. women in parliament/congress etc - low numbers again.

women may control men within the bounds of a relationship - this is not always the case though. but as soon as they start to try and fight their way into male dominated workplaces the rules of engagement change dramatically.

The only reason men really think they are superior to women is because thats the way its been since we figured out farming. (During the stone-age, women and men were equal, and women might have held more power within thier tribes than men, as most of thier gods were women.) But now that women are finally gaining equality, most men don't want to accept it.
