I will buy Doom III. Its the first fps I ever played and it got me hooked.

no, play it at a shite level of detail, then when you get the card you will notice every little thing that looks nice at a higher setting
 
No, I'm saving for a new video card and HL2.

Besides, I don't like doom all that much.
 
For now, I'll wait to see people's reactions to the game before I consider buying it. Right now, I wouldn't buy it.
 
Any pc gamer whose pc can run Doom 3 would have to be a screaming loony not to buy it!! (it's not as though there are any other decent pc titles competing for our time is it :/)

Heh even if my couldn't handle it I'd still buy the game, it's DOOM 3!!
 
I may be a bigger HL2 fan but since all the screens and videos of Doom3 look so insane, plus its coming very soon, i just coudnt pass it up, even if Doom isnt my favorite game series

I was there when DOOM was king, and i'm here to see DOOM 3 Break the ice of "Extra-Great-w()()tage New Generation Games", because farcry didn't break the ice for me :(.

And OF COURSE I WIL BUY IT, i'll be the first in front of my local computer store and if someone tries to push me away, i'll kill him :sniper:

Yes, whats with some people. Ohhh you can't like Doom 3 and Half-Life 2, its either one of the other, god I hate those people.

i just spent 65 on preorder with next day shipping. and with my financial problems it just better be worth it.
 
:naughty: Damn right I am going to buy it, one of those special games that deserve to be bought. I cannot pre order because I won't be around to pick it up so... I also will be getting the game later than most of you all :( .
 
Well i think i know why they made the pc specs so high, because after a year or 2 you could then enjoy the full detail graphics so the game kinda would last longer or something. But for now medium graphics must be great also :)
 
I preordered it some weeks ago (from a local gamestore). I have to say, that I haven't been following Doom 3's development at all. I have seen few screenshots, no videos, I don't know what weapons there will be or anything. So I'm in for a suprise.
 
I like FPS-games, and grew up with the first ones, of course I'll buy it.

For those saying flatout 'no', why don't you wait for the demo and then make up your mind?
