On the subject of the Misc. thread, I agree with Toaster, and mourn its passing - but as the original creator of the first version, I must accept any and all responsibility for the events surrounding its creation and closure, and for any ill feeling that results.

It will be a shame if it never comes back, but doubtless we will survive without it.
