Arizona School Suspends 13-Year-Old Boy for Drawing Gun

*sees kid across class drawing a gun*

*watches same kid pull gun out of paper*

OH SHI-

Hahahaha, I thought he'd actually drawn a real gun from his person.

Anyway, what's right with America these days? That doesn't even look like a gun.... more like an overturned bus.

What the merry ****?

This is insane! Who didn't draw guns, or knives, or tanks or whatever the hell else you can think of at school?

Well thats it, off to Canada. I'm sick of this place.

It's not from The Onion?

Crap.

.....

I drew a tank whilst in american school. Why am I not expelled and in prison?

Because South Korea has not yet combined its Education and Justice System.

WHAT THE ****.

That's completely outrageous. I used to draw guns and soldiers and explosions and tanks and whatnot constantly as a kid, and I'm not even remotely a physically aggressive person.

This is insane.

I drew guns millions of times when I was a kid. I also drew massacres; once I produced a very graphic depiction of the Hiroshima bombing. The teacher liked it.

It's hard to say if this is more funny than scary - that school officials could get together and make this decision. I mean, we can't blame a single lunatic, there's a bunch of them, and they're in charge of teaching young children?!!

Lord help them, they are doomed!

sheesh hysteria has indeed gripped America ..wont someone think of the children?

I'd understand if he said "See this? I'm bringing it next time...down on YOU."

Good thing I'm out of school and don't need to deal with this shit anymore

Dito. My old schoolbooks are/were filled with death and destruction, but no teacher cared.

What? That's ridiculous. I doubt you could find a school book of mine that doesn't have doodles of guns and stuff on.. guess I'm a huuuge threat

Oo, I like 'em foxy!

:sniper: Beware of the evil Two dimensional weapons.

Of course 13-year old boys carrying guns on themelves in school is perfectly acceptable.
Not pictures however.

Violence is OK, unless it doesn't include pictures of a badly drawn gun.

I also drew death and destruction in my younger years. My school books were filled with random drawings of guns, tanks, dinosaurs and shit like that.

How the hell can a drawing of a gun pose any sort of threat? :|

Goos thing they didn't find my penis drawings, they might of invited me over on a school night

Whats the big deal? You wouldnt even be able to hold that gun upright. I mean seriously, look at how huge the barrel of the thing is. Maybe he was suspended for his terrible drawing skills.

We're all moving in with Stigmata. I think theres about six or so of us now.

Man, I covered the back of my test papers with battlefields. Big mechs with guns attached to their god damn bodies, blasting the crap out of each other.

I believe I also drew a pretty graphic depiction of what I though Hell would be like. I wonder what they would have charged me with. Trying to summon occult demons from the fucking netherplane?

meh in grade 8 I use to do drawings of Conan holding a bloody sword in one hand and a head in the other ..and I went to a catholic elementary school. Drew a comic that was something along the lines of Road warrior but far more graphic ..heads blowing up/severed/squished etc ..I remeember drawing a scene where someone was sliced in two and I used an anatomical chart to draw the insides accurately

and look at me now

/me sharpens de-boning knife

When I was in 6th grade I made a large image of a tattered, burnt american flag on my desk with pencil. Who knows what they would of done to me if it was today I did it.

That's so manly :D

Also, anyone notice that this story's source was Fox News? I.e., it's actually probably something pulled out of context to say how THE LIBERALLLLLLS are overreacting to guns in general?

Or am I paranoid?

Is it just me, or does it look like a horrible depiction of Alyx' gun?

I drew a stick figure getting stabbed in the face with a sword by another stick figure on a test, and my teacher remarked by it "Should have gone for the chest." With a little winkey face next to it.

Poor kid...

I was sure this thread was about a kid actually "drawing" a gun, like a real gun and waving it about and was going: "Yeah, that's pretty ****ing justified". But this is sick, when I was a kid in school I drew nothing but guns, tanks, warzones, bombs etc etc. Granted, I think I'd stopped by the age of 13.

I fail to see the comparison to drawing something that looks sort of like a gun, and the columbine high shootings where they actually killed 20 people and placed bombs around the town.

Edit: oh yeah now I see it... they both are _completely different from each other_

I used to draw all sorts of crazy shit on top of my papers and in the borders, I think a few times my teachers were a little worried... but never did anything extreme like suspending me.

We're all moving in with Stigmata. I think theres about six or so of us now.

Hmm, I didn't think other people were in on it. I thought it was only me + Stiggy. I feel betrayed.

*draws a circle on paper*

*gets suspended for drawing the front-view of the barrel of a gun*

The only time I ever got suspended, was because I stole the ball from a ball mouse.

LOL.
