I thought both of them were horrible. I was quite disapointed as I am a fan of the book.

Heinlein had some very interesting and controversial politcal ideas and he used Starship Troopers as a form of political commentary as well as a good scifi yarn. Made for an entertaining as well as though provoking read.

I actually liked the 1st one, saw it at the pictures, was a fairly fun film. Never read the book, heard its quite good.
 
IF they didn't have such a low budget for the 2nd one it woulda been good.

It is my belife, that war is the rich mans tool, to gorvern and subdue the common and poor man, for their own benefits. Since i consider myself and my family common, I will not in any way put my self nor my family, in harms way to fatten the rich.
