I've got a choice to make before the end of my Junior year. At that point I'll need to submit my scholarship applications to the military info to make all the rounds, and if given one, after college I'll be commissioned Second Lieutenant (not sure for army) for X number of years stated in contract.
I have a strong family history in all branches- Air Force Army and Marines, but Air Force is most prominent. I've got a love for military flight, too.
I'm debating with myself whether to go Army ROTC or Air Force ROTC. The Army is lacking in Warrant Officers right now and that fits my love, but I've also got a strong inkling towards the Air Force.
Right now I'm tilted a lot more towards the AF, but I could be swayed to go Army ROTC if there's a strong enough case and there comes up something that is just right.
Deployment is not an issue for me in this.
Any suggestions? I'd appreciate any forum veterans who can chime in and offer advice, too.
edit: No, not expecting to pilot or anything either ;p. I can't anyway, barred from it, vision too bad.
