Why are you surprised? Native Manchesterers tend to hate Man U from my experience.Manchester!!?? Are you stranded?

Nothing like a bit of irrational tribalism to have some fun with. Otherwise we might end up like a sagacious, sensible, enlightened people like, um, I dunno...those Swedes maybe?
Col U all the way
Yid army! Can't wait to see Arsenal this season with Man City to contend with for that 4th spot. They may not click this season but it won't be too long till they do.Arsenal? In before Glenn.
(yiddo)
Vieira is purely for leadership quality, his ability and form are long gone (the second he went Juve). So I hope you do get him again I've not heard any pursuit of Veloso, but his price tag will probably be past what Wenger will pay.Personally I'd like to see the folowing players come in
Hangeland ~8-9 million
Chamakh ~6 million
Then a first choice central midfielder to partner Cesc.
Looking at Veloso, but Vieira could also do a job for a year I think - bring some of that experience to the young players.
Have to say both Chelsea and Man U looked very strong in the Communarty Shield

Chamakh has one year left at Bordeaux, then he'll go Arsenal for free since he seems pretty interested. So you probably won't see him for another season.
But yeah...I know you've replaced Toure with Vermelaen. Adebayor was awful and I appreciate your youth policy is superior to any other team in the EPL but lets be honest, where are the 100 goals going to come from?
Bet you wish you bought Peter Crouch eh? (This happened while I was away on holiday and I couldn't call up Redknapp and tell him to stop being ridiculous )
Seemed relevant.

Ahh to blazes with your embedding rules.
I may be from Manchester but I hate united with a passion, its eased slightly since that absolute wanker Ronaldo left (I swear the mere sight of him and just wanted to kill him everytime) and Owen making there way into the team. City I'm kind of neutral with it makes me laugh how they think they can spend loads of money and think it will win them trophies, you can't buy a good team, period. The fact that Celtic wolloped them pre-season is enough evidence of that.
I only really got into football about 5-6 years ago, I remember sitting down and trying to find a team to support, and it was the time of Arsenal's 03-04 season where they were walking over everyone and Henry, Bergkamp, Veira, Pires, Lyjumberg (still to this day cant spell his name) were all in their prime, and I loved watching their football so I chose them to support. Naturally at the time I was branded a glory supporter, but really it was because out of all the teams I watched, I enjoyed their football the most, and I also declared that they won't be winning things all the time, and even then I will still support them. After they won the FA cup in 05 (which was a sweeeeet occasion) we haven't won a thing, but I am still a loyal supporter.
And yeh I would love to see Veira back in midfield, that is the main thing we are lacking at the moment, a proper leader, although Arshavin is clearly leading by example. Adebayor scored us goals but there was no question about his work-rate, I think it was a great move for Eduardo to shine, and the fact that Rosicky (who we have missed dearly) is back in the squad I think we can finally start making challenges to the top spots. I can't see us winning anything major for a while though but its the premiership, anything can happen which is why its the best league in the world
Been supporting United since I was a wee lad, you can put that down to my Welsh patriotism and Giggsy
Cardiff City are becoming my main team now, really looking forward to this new season, 4-0 win at home to Scunnythorpe As long we keep Ledley and McCormack and try to get a couple others we will be sorted
is Chamakh(sp?) any good? Never heard of him before. *goes to look on youtube.
Arsenal's young players will develop more this season I think. Wilshere, Ramsey, Gibbs etc. They are without doubt the most watchable team in the PL.
Can't wait for the new season.
Also o/t, but did anyone see that the Espanyol captain died of heart failure? Lame.
Rangers fan here. You should be happy that we let you win your Emirates cup...
Simply because Cardiff are more important to me now that I understand football as a whole more
you are a glory supporter
Kinda hard to be a glory supporter considering we haven't achieved any glory for 4 seasons...
nah, but ur still a glory supporter. manc gooner, lol.
I have friends here that have supported Liverpool and Chelsea since they were very young, and they are mancs through and through.
And you still haven't explained how I am a glory supporter.
