Australia revokes internet anonymity during election

Yeah, uh, this one guy really is ruining the country as far as technological and internet based progress goes, so I think it's safe to say that the country can be judged by him to some extent, at least in the aforementioned category.
Hey I hear your president was a muslim. So what, is America like a muslim country now or something?

I would like to live in such a world.

I'm not posting my ****ing postcode, though.

THIS ISN'T ACTUALLY HAPPENING. ATKINSON BACKED DOWN AFTER ONE DAY.

"From the feedback we've received through AdelaideNow, the blogging generation believes that the law supported by all MPs and all political parties is unduly restrictive. I have listened.

Hey Atkinson why don't you listen to us when we ask about R18? It's nice you've stopped with this crazy censorship idea but then you completely ignore the other censorship issue. **** you.

"This way, no one need fear now that they are being censored on the net or in blogs, whether they blog under their own name or anonymously. The law will be repealed retrospectively.

Cough.

Don't let that get in the way of you guys bashing Australia. It's annoying enough already having to deal with other Australians bashing SA.

Now he has a reason for everyone to vote him back in, to make sure the law goes.

God damn it.

If the liberals win the state election he can kiss his attorney general position goodbye. With Rann's current attitude it's rather likely to happen. Damn corrupt government.

Talkin' to me, or people earlier on? That last comment I made was meant to be a joke.

The guy backed down after everyone in the media and public savagely mauled him.

He's a moron.

He doesn't care about the Public, if they protest, he won't do much... really.

It's like all politicians, they only back down when the Media tells the public how they should, and mostly already, feel.
