What's the average age of Counter Strike Source players out there?

Halo 2 is somewhere in the early 20s (supposedly, but I find that hard to beleive).

I myself am 27.

There are lots of people who are older(30+), they just tend to be assholes about kids (20-). "All these kids playing video games, swearing and killing..." etc. I for one find it annoying and try to avoid them...

thats a tough one cuz i work in a videogame store and i have yet hear little kids talk about hl2, but i hear counterstrike and halo 2 all the time. I know there are a shit load of kids in cs cuz i kick them all day for being stupid, not before i set em on fire or make em drugged and what not, its fun. But then its the same on halo 2 servers from what i remembered on xbox live. i read somewhere that the average videogame player is like 23 but i think the average halo2/counterstrike player is -12

I agree. If I have to choose between a server with 18-year-olds that, when you get killed, yell "Shot you right in the head mother****er!" or a server with -12-year-old noobs that ask "Excuse me, but where do you plant the bomb?" or "Nice shot" , I'd go for the noob server anytime.

Nothing really, but it makes you look like a more respectable person. And actually some of your netspeak is hard to understand sometimes. The "prob." thing had me confused for a bit.

And it's quite a bad habit to get used to typing like that. I'd rather type with good grammar and proper sentences. All the more ready I am for the business world of computers when I grow up.

I hate elite speak. People who use it are just dumb. Although I may call someone a nub if they teamkill me 500 000 times, and I say "owned!" once in a while. I don't really consider that elite speak because...well, owned is a word and not a terrible misspelling like..."Pwned" *shudders* that was painful.
