I hate his singing voice. I wish "gag orders" were something you could impose on singers to get them to stop. I can't identify with the type of music they play and I'm glad they are out of the spotlight these days.

I don't listen to avril lavinge. Some of my friends do, but not much.

I find it extremely amusing when people who like artists like Snoop Dog say "It's not the record sales that make the artist" when those artists will do everything physically possible to up their record sales.

Like whoring themselves out to reality shows on MTV and acting like idiots at award shows. Yeah, you can tell they're in it for the music! I respect hard rock/metal artists in particular because most of them don't give a toss what the music press thinks and they still sell millions of records without saturating the air-waves or television.

What other jambands do you listen to? I like Gov't Mule (favorite), MOE, Trey, John Butler trio and many, many others I don't have time to list.

Jambands are the last of the true musicians. Name another type of music where the artists will improvise on stage in front of tens of thousands of people every single night for hours. They write their own songs, they play their own instruments and they have deep knowledeg of music theory. Like shadow said, how can you outgrow jambands when the songs are never the same twice? Of course I've played the guitar for 15 years and have studied blues theory for 8 years. I'm kinda picky when it comes to my music.

Avril Lavinge is bad. She's one of the leaders of a music genre that makes no sense, pop punk, can you feel the hypocracy? The woman can't even sing for god sakes, have you ever heard her live? She sounds like someone stuffed a cold metal object up her bum.

She makes bad music. Dunno about her being a whore though.

Shame on you, 70's rock is awesome, and if you listen to 70's rock you should be able to appreciate punk bands too. First of all, comparing Avril Lavinge to punk is a capital sin. Second of all, I doubt you've listened to any of those band names Marco classified as punk. Pretty much because you failed point out that Iron Maiden differs from the others quite a bit.

supreme i said i didn't listen to those bands... secondly i listen to tons of classic rock, specially from the 70's. I'm not a huge rock fan but what i do listen to is the old shit. I hate new rock, specially punk rock, punk rock and death metal to me are 2 in the same. Just a bunch of angry kids... and i didn't compare avril lavigne to punk rock... the world did. I just used what they classified her as...
