Somehow i can't see Gman fighting gordon, HL series "boss fights" are usually huge creatures that need to be defeated tactically, gman is human sized and has a suitcase... no real weapons. Unless of course he is really in disguise and reveals himself as a combine advisor or something else more dangerous. Maybe he will be killed by another character, a vort or breen, who knows. Time will tell. Sooner or later, time will tell...

Gman is too awesome to be given a boss fight.

My guess is you'll never fight him, as he'll always be a shadowy, behind-the-scenes figure. He'll never die. This is all a business matter to him. If things irredeemably turn against him, he'll accept his losses and move onto the next matter he has, completely unrelated to his current failed endeavor.

Who says that you fight the G-Man? We already know it will come to the point of finally meeting him again but in a bad way. So far the only characters to fight the G-Man are the vorts. So maybe you fight the G-Man with the help of those purple vorts.

It figures that the GMan and Alyx knew of one another, but it's interesting that they may have met before. All rather exciting.

The thing that needs to happen least in the Half-Life series is for Gordon to kill the GMan, be it with his weapons or through some trickery-pokery, it simply should not happen. It would completely subverty and destroy his fantastic persona and intrigue.

Why do some people think that G-Man and Alyx knew each other after seeing the new trailer?

To me, it just looks as if Alyx got injured and the G-Man took her body and gordon to his stasis so he could try and convince gordon that hes putting Alyx in danger and he should 'end it'. Hes obviously talking to gordon and telling him to stop his fighting.

i can picture the vortigaunts holding him down in gordons reality, stopping him from leaving with their powers and also physically holding him, then you shoot him after he gives you some sort of explanatory speech, or maybe you can choose whether to kill him or let him go.
