Week 6 of uni, got my second class of the week in a few hours.




Goddammit why cant i get a shitting long break in the middle like you blokes? Then again, we get about 18 odd weeks a year off

I've got three more days now (including today) and then I'm back to college. I seriously hope tomorrow and thursday go by slow!! This holiday has gone by way to quickly for my liking.

Best class I learned I have - CommTech.

The former (and my former) CommTech teacher switched schools, all she made us do was graphics editing on the computer with photoshop - LAME. Despite there being very very highend equipment in the back for taking videos/sound/recording booth/green screen. Basically a musicians dream, she made us do none of it instead we went on the PC's and editing shitty pictures in photoshop. :|

So the new teacher is in a band, plays many different instruments, so on and so forth.

So tomorrow he's bringing in his acoustic bass, he'll bring in Rock Band, my class is doing the announcements in slideshow/animation format every morning, and he'll let us record our own stuff in the sound booth (like I said VERY high end stuff), film our own movies (high end cameras and boom mics and stuff) basically we have the equipment for what you want to do anything media related, we're allowed to do it if we want, and he'll grade us on it. Best thing of all: He'll let us blast out tunes through the super expensive PA system, and even better - HE LIKES RUSH. omg. Best class ever.

I'm going to test out that recording booth by bringing in my Les Paul **** yea! Maybe since he plays bass (he plays banjo and stuff too, but bass normally), I can jam with him, and since he's bringing a drum kit in the class, we'll be able to do some awesome shit. I can't wait to go to this class tomorrow, now.

So I'm suppose to go into Spanish 2 Honors
I got the recommendation from my last year Spanish teacher
I find out in Spanish 2 Honors that we were suppose to get a Summer Packet
I never got one
I talked to this years teacher, I told her I never got a packet, we looked at the recommendation list and my name wasn't on there!
My last year teacher didn't put me on the list. So now I have to do a packet by tomorrow >=O!!!
All is good though

I have a weird paranoia about missing class. It's actually a recurring nightmare, along with "being at a store ready to purchase something, then realizing I forgot to bring my wallet."

Surprisingly, that happened to me yesterday. I was at Subway and I reached for my wallet to find it not there. So the lady was pissed, 1. Because I wasted her time and 2. She now had a sandwich that she didn't know what to do with.

Woo! Carnegie Mellon ftw! Pittsburgh ftw! I live like 45 minutes away from Pitt! lols.

My friend's sister graduated from there last year, and I'm pretty sure Bill Cosby was at their graduation speaking/doing stand up. I heard it was awesome. Haha.

Most people I talked to didn't like cosby's speech, because he seemed out of touch with what Carnegie Mellon is actually about.

He did give the school a scottie dog though.
