Why does everyone think ads in a game such as this add realism?
Technically, the billboards would be destroyed from artillery, rockets, tank shells, etc.

And it's the year 2142 and we'd be seeing ads for vehicles, TV shows, and movies of today.

by "realistic" i would say they should blend it in into the enviorment. like the signs show age or soemthing idk.
 
I was actually paying attention to the environment such as the billboards, the buildings, the crates, etc.., and noticed how many ads there will be in one game. Those long metal crate things are going to turn into ads. There are at least 2000 of those in 3 maps alone. Oh well, it won't bother me much as long as the ads are for Viagra, guns, and animal cruelty.
 
Uh no that's a part of the container texture ie the shipping company.

I realize that, but both the billboards and the containers have exactly the same logo which to me could turn into ads in themselves.

I'm still loving this game! :D
 
IDK, i just wish the asshats that play BF2142 would give other people rides. Theres extra seats in there for a reason.
 
I've been kinda regretting that I bought 2142. Maybe I shoulda bought BF2 instead :(

The fun you're having in 2142 or any other BF games is completely dependant on your fellow teammates.

I second that, and hell..even third. The game blows total ass if you have a shitload of retards as teamates.

That can be applied to any game though. Need a retard barrier on the internet, that should sort them out.
 
Holy Crap, I actually had a good squad last night. All had mics and were actually talented. Turned the score around completely just because of our squad.
And i forgot to add'em to the buddy list :(
