A full size grizzly is ****ing huge and ferocious. It would rise up on its hind legs and pummel down on the puny ant-lion, crushing its pathetic brittle body.

to go hunting a bear, you need a side arm..the lowest you can carry is a ****in .357. NUFF SAID. the bear could get hit 10 times and still stand by an antlion.

Repeating what othe people have said, it would really go down to luck, if the antlion used it's maneuverability well it would probably win, a good swipe from a large bear would certainly stun an antlion enough for the bear to finish it...

Depends what kind of bear, and what kind of antlion.

One of the larger species would have no problem killing a regular Antlion. Some other bears might not find it so easy, especially the less aggressive types (ie. Pandas, Sun Bears)

I'm sure an Antlion Guard would beat any bear though.

Oh an BTW, Koalas aren't usually referred to as Koala 'bears' over here in Australia. Most people just call them Koalas.

The antlion would lose, as against all non-Combine-soldier creatures, they only deal 5 damage per swipe. Against Combine, though, they automatically deal damage equal to the Combine's health, and then some.

When catapaulted at high speeds?

I recon a grizzley could just SIT on an antlion and it'ld die. A koala? It'd just eat eucalyptus leaves. Australia is a weird place to evolve, really.
