...been lurking for over a year, time to give back

I ping about 50. . .server is down though

lets go python, get the server up and give us an ip

welp, the server is updated to 100%.

Everytime I launch it, I get 75-150 clients IMEDIATELY trying to log in.

It gets to a certain point and then crashes.

I tried password protecting it but evidentially Steam and the server have to process every request in order to see if the client has the correct password.

It wont get better until there are enough servers to cover the client influx and that may be morning.

I will keep trying for a bit....

I think I have a work around, give me a few momentos

The name is still Halflife2.net correct? Well, make the password hl2.net so its short and people won't just put in the name of the server on a guess.

whoohoo, found a work around, its up now. Not quite sure how people are still able to connect but I have clients coming in and getting booted cause they dont know the password

change the last three digits of the previos IP to 241

The password is now my username, too many clients were guessing right, ty for the heads up
