Best day of class ever

So I'm in a class dealing with issues relating to the 1st amendment and censorship this summer, and throughout the course, GTA kept being mentioned by various people in the class. Yesterday my professor said he wanted to see this game and asked if anyone could bring it in. I said I would, and so today I spent about an hour playing GTA4 while the class discussed the controversies and the implications of games like it. I demonstrated some of the key controversies, like random rampages, prostitution, and drunk driving. The professor did play devil's advocate, but wasn't really offended or even surprised by it. He was amused though.

Sweet, I recall once our Pysch teacher had an Xbox day where the boys would play against the girls to demonstrate that males naturally have better hand to eye coordination. I mean, we understood this already, but it was pretty sweet that he let us drive it home by playing Xbox in his class for a day.

That is bloody awesome. The only game I ever got to play in school was illegal. My friend, who his from the AV Department invited us one night to our lecture theater in the night. It has a huge ass 10 by 10m screen and the school projector supported up to 1080i resolution. So my friend brought over his xbox360 as planned, and we had a kickass game of GOW, with all of the awesome sound system of the LT. It rocked.

Nice! I remember, ages and ages and ages ago, someone brought in their mega-drive with the original Mortal Kombat. The teachers switched it off immediately after the first sub-zero spine rip fatality.

My friends and me played our female science teacher at a few games online once , we played CnC Tib sun , starcraft , battlefield 2 , CS:S , HL: DM , unreal tourny and many others , we stayed up two days in a row playing. Then on the tuesday following she showed the class some of the recordings , it was kick ass. And shes pretty good too.
