I don't know if this counts but Battlefield Vietnam has a great soundtrack, they didn't exactly make it but still it rocks!

And the original GTAs had good music too.

My all time favorite has to be Doom though, someone mentioned the cool guitar riffs well most of the original songs were done by old school metal bands like Slayer.

I'd have to say that Civilization 3's entire soundtrack was incredibly well-written and played, from the rhythym of the ancient age to the classical music of the middle ages to the techno of the final ages.

I don't have the music files at the moment but basically all the music From C&C, Red Alert and even Generals. Tiberian Sun and RA2 weren't so good for music. Medieval Total War has pretty good music as well. Opposing Force had good music and the music for Half-Life was alright to. There are others but i can't think of them at the moment really.

This doesn't exactly count, but when im playing Desert Combat for Bf1942 i load my special Winamp playlist. It has all 3 lord of the rings soundtracks, the Gladiator soundtrack, Pirates of the Carribean, Black hawk down many matrix songs, the music from Medieval Total War, Passion of the Christ, Franz Ferdinand and lots of Italian Job songs.

That seems quite a lot but its perfect for playing that game, its got all the battle music and the much slower songs for when you die. I just want to be able to set it up the songs will change for different situations. But how it is it works fine....Its so fun when you get a group of helicopters and you all going flying off to the enemy base with "Ride of the Valkyries" playing.

and just to say, origonally that guy in midgar who lived in the slums, did you know in japan he was origonally going to be the same race as aries (i forgot their name), and if you healed him he brougt her back from the dead? it never got put in though, because the game was allready delayed and it would mean postponing it by many months...

Yeah, she has a lot of limit breaks and attacks that were completely useless, so I guess that would explain it.

And it's pretty sad when I can follow the tune perfectly in your la la Laa la la's.
