Best Old Games

Are so many great games I remember, most seem to have already been mentioned.

Theme Hospital - Loved this. Should play it again at some point.
Destruction Derby 1 and 2 - Preferred DD2 more as it seemed faster paced. Got both for PC but they don't run on XP :( Got both for PSX anyway.
Constructor - This game owned but was really hard to beat I found.
Kiss Psycho Circus - Not that old but was fun.
Project Nomads - Loved this game. You build a floating battle island. Bit cartooney but fun never the less.
Nuclear Strike - A 3D Desert Strike type game and loved it. You could destroy pretty much everything on the map.
Star Fighter 3000 - Fun game. Fly around blowing shit up.

You can still buy most of these. I found DD2 and NS in Staples for £2 each and DD1 in some cheap bin in Morrison's. Most of the others are newer and a bit easier to find. There's always eBay anyway.

Oh oh, and I HAVE to mention Frontier Elite 2, I love all the Elite games, open-ended space games ftw.:p
It was one of the most technologically impressive games off its time considering how huge it was etc.:p

Aw hell yes Pyramids of Egypt, game was so simple but so fun, and got really hard later on. I didn't know that John Romero made it until now..hmm

There was also this old game that I can't remember, there was a TV show (when i lived overseas but i think it was a US channel) where kids would play against each other m-player. It was a top-down view of two little dudes or something, and you collected a coin, (actually maybe it wasn't m-player but they took turns)... i can never remember it.

Which of these are multiplayer? Anyone found any good multiplayer ones?

Depends on if you mean internet based multiplayer or both on the same comp, getting internet-multiplay to work on ol' DOS games is rather hard..:p
Anyway, a good multiplayer game imo is the one that in a sense laid the groundwork for the whole 'artillery' aspect of rocketlaunchers, nades etc in games like worms..
Scorched Earth!
