The scene where Luke is buring cooked alive in front of Vader, and the camera keeps zooming in to his face as he pans between the Emperor and Luke, you can like almost picture the distress of his face behind the mask, with the music getting more and more atmospheric before he rises up and lobs the Emperor to his doom. Its just like as he stood there, Anakin was fighting Vader as if there was a massive conflict in his mind.

He dies as Anakin Skywalker. One of the best scenes I have ever witnessed.

Why is it nobody likes George Lucas exactly?

Because he can't write dialogue for shit. Infact, he can't write at all. To this day, I question ****ing "RAY SHIELDS." WTF are these things? Something pulled out of Lucas's ass when writing, that's what. Star Wars is totally marred by this bullshit cockshit stuff.

None of them are very good, but Return of the Jedi is the least worst.

The acting in ep. 1-3 is nothing short of horrible. But the actors are good, the problem is that the only enviorment they have to act in (and in many cases, against), is a ****ing green screen. I wouldn't wanna be working under those conditions. Check out some of Hayden Christensen or Natalie Portman's other movies, they're really not that bad.

Ep. IV gets extra points for Alec Guinness, though it's a shame such a terrific actor has been so associated with such mediocre films.

It has nothing to do with the green screen, many stage actors have nothing to work with outside of a black curtain and they do just fine, plus, many films have primarily used greenscreens and the acting has come out perfect, Sin City anyone...hell even 300( for the most part).

The real problem...is Lucas, he is a ****ing moron. Watch any interview with an actor who has worked with him and theyll tell you the same thing. he's cold and disconnected. He flat out told Ron Howard that he hates working with actors. Which is pretty ironic considering he is a ****ING DIRECTOR!!! Not only that, but i don't think he can really spot when someone is acting well. If you watch the behind the scenes for ep one it shows like 5 Anikan audition tapes. All four were better then the kid he picked and he even recognizes it, but he justified picking him by saying "he'll look really good once we add the CGI". It's ridiculous.

Well for one, lets make this clear, he did not write the original 3, and thats why they were good.

But he wrote ep1,2,3, and thats why they sucked for the most part.

Plus he re-did the original 3 with crappy 90's CGI, fans begged him to change it back and he said "No, I will not change it, this is how it was supposed to be, and it will always be that way"

-f*ck you you big dumb fat teddy bear lookin f*ck, get the f*ck outa my office. Yeah, George is a big pulsating dick.

He did write the original 3....I dont think he got credit for the second one..but i still think he had a large part in it.

He did write the original 3....

he directed them. The "head" writer was someone else. Few people notice that. George did take part, but he didn't write nearly as much as he did in ep1-3

No, he directed the original, and 2 other directors directed empire and Jedi. Credit wise, he wrote 4, got a story credit for 5 and cowrote 6.

They are his concepts, he approved everything that went into those movies.

I was watching episode 2 on dvd and I had to skip through big chunks of it because Anakin's attacking caused me physical pain.

The only thing good to come out of George Lucas is ILM.

Wow. Wow. Lucas is such a ******.

Yeeah Stevo was the main brains behind the Indy films, Lucas was more of an advisor. However to be fair, Lucas did right the story apparantly.

That is possibly my favourite scene in Star Wars.

I can never, never dislike Star Wars because I have so many nostalgic memories attached to it.

Favourite is the 6th one though, I remember rewatching the Battle of Endor dozens of times in one day.

Ehhh yes and no. It's not terribly clear how much is 'his' and what isn't. Episodes 1-4 are pretty much his, 4 being the movie it is because he a) didn't know what he was doing and b) most of its script is 'inspired' by tons of other movies. We're led to believe he wrote 5, but Leigh Brackett did some massive rewrites after, with a second revision by Lucas and Lawrence Kasdan (Read the Wiki on it--it's still speculative). I'd guess by the content of 6 that he had more (but still limited) control, judging by the absurdities of Ewoks and the Jabba song routine.

The point? Lucas could never write. He lucked out with 4 and had people holding his hand through 5 and 6. 1-3 were doomed from the beginning.
