lol i have it since 9am this morning - the leaked one by all accounts but it works perfectly :D
i'm going to see if its still possible to fly in a minute

I just played two maps, sniper rifles are EZ mode now. I like ))
 
the aa is awesome - finally i can dogfight with the keyboard
you will die if you dont keep your distance - playing cleansweep in single player i came top but i had to frantically stay away from the mobile aa and the enemy jet - going round in circles doesnt work any more

Hang on....EZ mode? What exactly do you mean by...EZ mode? Like, better crosshairs, or, 1 shot kills? The sniper rifles were the one thing that actually required a good deal of skill and patience to use properly. Are you saying that EA just killed that or that they just made the accuracy and the range slightly more realistic?
 
My god i am now in love with the M95! :D

Actually could get some kills going with it. Not spent too long on it yet, waiting for our clan server to get sorted

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa...hang on... please don't tell me that the sniper rifles totally own now. I seriously do not want my class being overrun by newbs because the guns are pinpoint accurate and have 1 shot kills.

No, not pin-point, just the M95 is actauly accurate now, well thats how i felt it was
 
Good, thanks. I was just worried that EA had made the .50 cal sniper rifles an instant kill.
 
Big gripes with the new patch:

-Sniping is now easy (I've hardly sniped and I find it horribly simple)
-GL'ing is worse than before because people can bounce them, lowered radius doesn't seem to affect it much
-P90 is a joke compared to the overwhelming power that is the PKM.

I pray to GOD that servers aren't ANYTING like the one I was just on. Some of the dumbest rounds I've ever played in BF2. All anybody was using was the PKM, snipers and GL's...

EDIT: I also had bad suttering early on, worse than it used to be for beginning of game lag - but I did notice better performance later.
 
Argh....my computer had a massive hardware failure. I'm not gonna get online anytime soon.
 
PKM is definately overpowered, just like the M60 from BF:V. On my last round with the PKM it was 49 some kills and 10 deaths...
 
The new patch ****ing sucks...

1) Sniping is way too easy. I was just on an Oman server using the AWP, 28 kills 0 deaths. With the M24, before the patch, I would consider this an extremely good round. I wasn't even trying...
2) Because of #1, way too many people snipe now. It's ridiculous.
3) The PKM is overpowered.
4) The P90 is shit.
5) My FPS dropped significantly.
6) Crouching is slower. WTF?!
7) While it's cool that you can see the UAV's now, they're too big, the names are hilighted even if you aren't aiming at them and as far as I can tell, the AA doesn't lock on to them.

Damn you Chuck Norris! Its all your fault.

That means I have no respect as a sniper anymore.
 
Is it me or are choppers made of paper now? The jet killed me in ~ 1 second after lock on sound. I literally had no time to react while I was refueling :(

:x by the sounds of it im going to be very dissapointed once ive downloaded it, if its this bad they better release a patch fix pretty damn soon!
 
It's a meh patch...I'm happy AA works now, but proning seems like you're floating down to earth...it's odd

Nost as bad as the first patch though, you have to agree.
 
OH GOD! The PKM now overpowered? Now everyone will be using it! **** YOU EA!!!
