Blair vs Chavs

I'd rather the odd teacher went overboard with the cane than the entire next generation going overboard. You could still have checks on the teachers...beating quotas? :laugh:
 
I personally think that National Service should be brought back with all the trappings of a 1950's style of training like on Lads Army - It was marvellous how they broke their spirit and morale, plus also this teenage shit hole culture was brought around by complete lack of discipline so Undo the stupid law about not smacking kids to hard and bring back the cane and do all the things we did when this country was great and we could be proud of it - Beating our children have to death for being bad gave us an empire.

P.S. In the event this does not work I shall create an army of Daleks and have them “Exterminate” the entire chav population.

P.P.S. In the event of "Operation: Chavs Chucked" failure i shall resort to hording them on an abandoned island and invite the world to dispose of their nuclear weapons.

While I don't agree with smacking as a means of discipline - half these charvers were probably beaten by their drunken parents for no good reason, that's where they learnt their violence from....

Sure I don't mind but I did make a slight mistake it should be

"Beating our children half to death for being bad gave us an empire."
 
Also while I can appreciate your point about them possibly having been beaten what in all honesty needs to be given squarely given to parents is responsibility if they can't show enough responsibility to bring their kid up well enough then maybe they shouldn't have the child at all.

Yeah, the parents should be responsible for a decent upbringing. But who is going to take away their right to have children?
We need another social revolution to restore good family values. Or something.
 
I agree peoples priorities are very majorly messed up - More 18-21 year olds voted in Big Brother than in the General Election, Some of these parents say "I want to give me kids the chance to have freedom and responsibility" well its not working, these things should be earned and enforced not given away because you want to go down to the pub with your chav teenage mum friends and get pissed on a Friday, Sat, Sun..... Mon, Tue, Wed and Thurs night.

The last time we really had a shake up of social values in Britain was after WWI when the Edwardian era ended and they started to try and abolish class distinction and again after WWII maybe we need another World War
 
I say we take off and nuke the chavs from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

EDIT: looked at some revieuws and i'm not gone download this one, because i'm having low bandwith atm from downloading Kingdom of heaven.

Must say I agree with a quote in the film Parenthood (Said by Keanu Reeve's character no less ;)):

Tod: You know, Mrs. Buchman, you need a license to buy a dog, to drive a car - hell, you even need a license to catch a fish. But they'll let any butt-reaming asshole be a father.

But there would be a huge outcry if they started regulated and denying people to be parents.

True story, last year on the way back from school on the bus i half chocked a chav to death (so maybe not half to death but for best part of 30 seconds)

There was summat I heard on the news today about young offenders doing community service or whatever being required to wear uniforms so that the rest of the community knows what they're up to and why.
