Tom Delonge uses some cool chords, and Travis Barker is one hell of a drummer, but that`s about all there is to them. The songwriting sucks, the vocals are incredibly lame.

I like Blink's older stuff, and the new album. I used to be a huge fanboy but it's still fun to listen to :E Travis does indeed kick some serious ass, puts some really cool parts to what otherwise would be some pretty generic songs.

Not into Greenday much, like a couple of their songs.

On the strength of both their latest albums (the only ones I can really listen to), Green Day > Blink 182. Blink 182 did a couple of interesting songs, but I just hate DeLonge's voice...Green Day are much better, and are brilliant live.

To me, they're both horrible bands. Poor vocals and lyrics is what throws both of them off. For example on Blink 182's "Down," 95% of the whole song is "Down, down, down, down" being repeated over and over, and combined with terrible, flat vocals makes my brain combust.

If I had to choose between the two, I'd have to go with Green Day. Even though they're also a terrible band, they don't sound as crappy as Blink 182, period.

:dozey: Green Day's current album, is a meh... I only like "holiday", and "Boulevard of Broken" dreams has a nice tune, but shit sounds a bit emo. I also liked "Give me Novacaine", that's about it. As for Blink 182, mEH ugh.

No actually Blink and Greenday suck a lot. :-( Sorry to tell you that. Listen to some Zep, Pink floyd, Mars Volta, UFO, or Soundgarden for real bands, and stop being with the bullshit MTV loving group that loves no talent bands like them

Anyways, I'm a fan of Blink's old stuff. Their new stuff is a little...ehhh. Green Day isn't too bad, though I don't listen to them much.
