if all of those 'things' are true and are added in the expansion i'll definently buy it, they are awesome.

There's a difference between getting pissed and leaking info.
Him being fired does NOT validate his behaviour(I.e. acting like a mother****ing child by leaking this info).
Hopefully he'll get sued or something for leaking internal company info like this.
He deserves it atleast.

I'm crossing my fingers that this is true. If they announce Diablo 3 at E3, I'm going to cry with happiness - not because I give a shit about D3, but because that means the SC2 thing is probably true. :D :D

He's also the one who started the rumors of Diablo3 and all that in the first place (the guy who is quoted in the other forum)... It's just that this is the first time I've ever seen the full post he made...

My friend's grandma accidently walked into a blizzard meeting and now she told me Starcraft 2 was going to be a turn-based role playing game.

Firstly, everything that was "leaked" was already revealed in Blizzcon a week ago.

Secondly, I very much doubt we'll hear anything about Starcraft 2 (even if it is in development) for a LONG time. I'm pretty sure there will be no E3 presentation of Starcraft 2, because if Blizzard actually had a working version of the game they were happy to show to the public, they would have revealed SC2 at Blizzcon.

What if they come up with a working version in between now and E3? I don't see why because it wasn't shown now it can't be showed then.

Scince Warcraft 3, Blizzard have been pumping all their efforts into World of Warcraft, and in multiple interviews and conferences they have stated that they simply want to expand WoW for the time bieng (hence the expansion). So don't you think this makes it extremely unlikely that they'll have fuelled precious time and energy into Scarcraft2 and Diablo3 WHILE updating WoW?

Therefore, either Starcraft 2 is VERY EARLY in development, or (most likely) it does not exist.

As for Diablo3:
They should have a gameplay demo to show at BlizzCon.

Guess what guys? Diablo3 and Starcraft2 are inevitable. Blizzard have made bucketloads of cash from World of Warcraft, and will undoubtebly expand all of their series in the distant future. But to think you'll be hearing from any of these products in the coming year is doubtful. At the moment, Blizzard are 99% devoted to WoW and it's expansion, 1% devoted to Starcraft:Ghost. It's impossible that they've got enough time to develop a Diablo and Starcraft game on top of that.

Surely they'd be working on WoW too? Or Battle.net, or something? Even if they are working on either Diablo3 or Starcraft2, that doesn't mean they've got anything to show. They might still be in the conceptual stages.

But do you honestly think that Blizzard:North have got working versions of both Diablo3 and Starcraft2, that can be presented to the public, that they've just magiced up in their spare time? I don't.

EDIT: Mind you, so far all the rumours of the WoW expansion have come true. Nothing has actually been proven "false", which does lend support to the Diablo3 and SC2 rumours. I wouldn't get your hopes up though... it could be that in all the WoW expansion hype, all these extra rumours have sprung up as well, holding no real authenticy.

They could.... Blizzard isn't an extremely small company. I think it may be Blizzard North that works on WoW with a little help from Blizzard HQ. While HQ can focus there efforts on Another game.

Arn't you smart. They acquired 40 console workers back at E3. 40 ones, they acquired... SWINGIN APE STUDIOS. Swingin Ape has there own building near Blizzard Hq's own. Thus it's basically a console department... And before E3 they wern't masking Sc:G. Swingin Apes were and Blizzard was making sure they did a fine job at it, and before they were Nihilistic was and because Nihilistic sucked at making it they delayed it over and over and then finally gave it to Swingin Apes.

It's impossible that they've got enough time to develop a Diablo and Starcraft game on top of that.

So yes it is very possible. Focus North on WoW, New Swigin Apes on Sc:G, and HQ on an RTS.
Why would WoW do north? Because North makes...RPG's!! Thus they would be better suited for an MMORPG.

Blizzard HQ and North are in different buildings, they have become closer because North moved closer recently though. Anyway, there is one team that hasn't announced what there working on. Plus Blizzard has hired a ton in the past several months to keep up with WoW. So far, they can easily be working on something else.

Because they acquired a whole a company for Sc:G.
They have Blizzard North working on WoW
They hired a shitload of people for WoW in the past months.
They still have Blizzard HQ.
