I really liked WoW, but if every Blizzard game has a monthly fee, they can kiss my ass man.
Forgive me for not keeping up with the thread, I just see the word Blizzard and don't even get interested enough to look except that I'm wondering what everyone is discussing in here.
It's a shame when good games come for bad consoles, or charge a monthly fee to play. I realize updating and maintaining servers, and paying employees, bandwidth, and equipment is expensive, but they are obviously making a killing on us. I refuse to be one of the ones that supports the high prices of it.
Phantasy Star Online was free for years, and when it went up to 7.99 a month or whatever, I was very disapointed, but I accepted it. It was a shame because 80% the people - the people that make the game what it is - stopped playing entirely. The only people I could play with that weren't golden spoon children were mostly japanese so I couldn't communicate.
but 7.99 isn't too bad, but I won't pay any more than that. What is WoW anyway, I forget. It's like $15 a month? Well that's .50 a day. It's totally not bad if you play it everyday, but I don't have much time to play, so I'm done with monthly fees. They should have a .50 a day option then.
