i played tf2 so much and one day i started playing and i got so bored i havnt been playign tf2 to much.Any1 eles gettign bored?

I am only beginning to master a few of the classes.

There is always so much to do, I will never get bored either.

i refuse to play custom maps, so yeah its getting boring waiting for new content

I'm on a cycle of being bored with TF2, then playing it non-stop.

The only maps I'm bored with are Granary and Hydro.

I still suck with most classes too, so I'm trying to get better.

Yes we need new maps. I am not bored of TF2 but I am freaking tired after TF2 marathons :p

we'll get badlands, and then we'll have to wait like 3 more months.

Hell, I havn't even played on all the maps.
I'm not playing enough, am I?

more maps are desperately needed i mean only coming with 6 maps thats quite poor. They've been working on it for so long. The maps that came are all really good so i hope they can keep the high standard up.

Also agreed with the above post, I'm trying to get the pyro down atm, I'm not doing too well though.

Anything as good as dustbowl would be brillaint.

unfortunetly, Badlands isgoing to be ANOTHER capture map (cp_Badlands) ;(

I don't get bored because the teams I wind up on are so random. Occasionally we'll have a very sharp engineer or two that make the strategy different, maybe someone with constructive plans, or a roomful of noobs - it's always something different. I have been on boring servers, and I just find a different one.

i play it alot, useually when other hl2.netter are playing.
but i sometimes tend to get bored if im not playing as a spy, like with a soldier its just firing rocket after rocket, yeah you get kills but it gets dull, and with engis you can stand there forever with nothing to do. Playing the spy is exiting, sneaking behind enemy lines and fooling them, it can be very adrenealine rushing.

So very true. Whenever I play as the Spy and manage to get a kill or sap a sentry, my heart starts racing and I get a huge adrenaline rush. It's probably the most exciting video game thing I've experienced since my old N64 days.

QFT indeed. Being a spy and achieving kills and saps really gets you reeling with joy. I just had an awesome experience as a spy in 2fort yesterday. The opposite team had 5 snipers 4 rocketeers and 2 engines and a spy.

Firstly, I skillfully made my way across the bridge pass all those rockets invisible. Then I waited in a corner and entered deeper invisible. I saw the first engine near the entrance to the barn. With a swift and skillful sap and kill operation I cleared the engineer and his shit.

That attracted the other engineer from above and cause him to come down, and I managed to get past him and go to the top, sapping his turret and dispenser on top as well. Then, i entered the sniper area and fragged all the five snipers using backstabs. Everyone was like WTF WTF how did that happen. Was totally awesome! :) (Oh and I finally met my death from a spy, he shot me with his handgun after coming out of the supplies room)

Spy gives me some of the LOL moments.

Backstabing an enemy Spy just after he comes out of Spawn.
Any Heavy kill.
The "Last chance to live" Revolver shot...Worked!

NO!!!!

Still amazingly fun and different everytime I play it.

I wish there was something more to the classes, but the diverse teamplay is what keeps me playing.

Nope - I'm not bored with it either. I need to get some practice as a Sniper and a Spy anyway.

I hate CTF maps. The actual game mode itself is fine, but I think they ruin the maps when they make them identical to eachother (which they have to for balance).

I like CTF maps, it gives you something really fun to do, take out defences or simply run past them, then when you have the intelligence, you have to flee, as fast as possible, with all the enemy chasing you.

But 2fort has become so well developed with the community that people know exactly where to place sentrys, snipers etc, meaning it is hard for Spys or Scouts to do their job on a 20 player + server.

the only thing ive been getting bored of lately are the official maps.. but its not a big deal because there are quite a few good custom maps out there, and plenty more on the way im sure

He means that CTF games are to simalar to each other. To keep it fair, you have to have two bases with a feild in the middle.
Ah ok. I suppose there are more restrictions on CTF maps, but I would like to see more sky bridges and lifts.

I'd like to see a CTF map with more than one main chokepoint. Unless that would be too difficult to balance...

I'm on a hiatus from TF2 for a while as I've a vast back catalog of games to play through, however I'm looking forward to getting back into it in a few months.
