I love breaking bad, It was much better than i thought it would be looking at the previews,

Never thought much of it when I first saw the previews.

But, I've hearing lots of good things about so I just might check it out.

The series stars Bryan Cranston (who plays Hal from Malcolm in the middle) as Walter White, a struggling high school chemistry teacher with a handicapped teenage son and pregnant wife. When the already tense White is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, he breaks down and turns to a life of crime, setting up a meth lab in a desire to secure his family's future financial security.

I think there are only 7 episodes... at least that's all I've seen aired before the writer's strike cut the first season short.

Been waiting for Season 2 for ages now, this is a really awesome show. It's like Weeds but about meth and WAYY more hardcore (imagine the Weeds milf killing people).

Love it. I was surprised by Bryan Cranston performance. I still haven't heard anything about a 2nd season. I hope that they bring it back.

I love this show. This thread got more unique responses than my own breaking bad thread in the past!

Anyway, season 2 is here, first two episodes out with third one coming this weekend. I can't wait to see it. The first two episodes were great.

Holy Shit! This latest episode was pretty damn good.

The tortoise part... wow.

Why the **** doesn't hulu have this show?
God ****ing damn it, I want to watch this.

I'll give this a looksee. If Sparta is watching it must be worthwhile. ;)

I'm freaking loving the show. Just watched the first season. Some good performances.

Yeah, I've pretty much given up on Weeds. It started out decent but turned into an average soap-opera.

High-five! [/Borat]

This is quite easily one of my favourite shows on TV. Does confrontations like no other.

What? I've seen nothing that resembles a soap opera of any kind in it.

I took the plunge and bought the first season on DVD.

Not regretting it so far, first episode almost threw me off, because it seemed to drag a little.
Second episode picked up the pace and hooked me, going to keep watching in a little bit.

It gets all-round awesome in the second half of the 3rd episode. You'll know it when it comes to it.

ya, this show ****ing rules. Cranston's baldness makes him look downright evil, in a good way.

The turtle part was effing great, I think i got chills :)

Finally got around to watching this and it is top quality, the first season was superb and very dark. Definitely digging the vibe of the show. I think comparisons to weeds are a little unfair as that is a comedy, where as this is moving in much darker waters, the whole FUBAR aspect of Crazy 8 and Emilio was just plain nasty all over. Compelling stuff.

* goes back to watching

This is definitely darker than Weeds, I retract the comparison.
Finally caught up to where it is now on TV.
Hilarious, sick, and intriguing is all I can say about it.

Also, Krysten Ritter is a fox.

Yes she is, Lucid, yes she is.

I love this show to death, haven't caught the episode that aired last night yet though.

Me either. Dammit. I slept in last night. ARGH.

I was too busy cramming for my exam this morning.

I can already see it. Walt is going to win the cancer battle but end up being too deep in the drug business.

Probably, but I think he's got a taste for it. Him learning the paper towel dispenser at the end of the last ep was quite scary tbh.

Just noticed this thread. My friend was telling me about this yesterday so I'm downloading it. They film it here in my town so that's pretty cool.

He definitely has some anger boiling deep down in him but i don't think that he enjoys any minute of the stuff that he's been doing. His family is the main and only reason why he is selling the meth. The reason he punched the towel dispenser is because of the news he received regarding his cancer. If he didn't get the cancer, he never would have done any of this stuff.

Great ending to this latest episode.

I was wrong. Mr. Hyde has emerged. Skyler better keep that pussy shut.

I was wrong. Mr. Hyde has emerged.

Told ya ;)

Good episode. Change of pace from the others, but cool nevertheless. Walt suddenly re- emerging from the fear and exerting the alpha male over Hank was quite compelling. Also loved the sign off 'Stay out of my territory'. The teasing intro stuff is getting pretty heavy though. I sure hope the show doesn't wrap up after this season ends....

I have watched all the episodes so far and it can be really funny. Although during the latest episode it felt like it was starting to repeat the plot of "They decide to stop, because of whatever reason, and during the whole next episode they are going their own seperate ways, trying to continue their previous lives until they realise they have to get back to it and they call each other and go LETS MAEK SOME DRUGS YEAH."
