Breaking news: N. Korea launches missile

Little is known about where it's headed, but I just heard a news blurb about 30 seconds ago confirming the missile has been launched.

All three missles blew up upon launch. One of them landed in the Japan Sea I think. Japan has said previously that they condemn the tests and will be putting sanctions on North Korea.

NK isnt really communist though. Its closer to an absolute monarchy.

But anyhoo, I dont really think this is anything to worry about. If Kim Jong Il nuked anywhere the whole of North Korea would be a smoking wasteland in a matter of minutes. Kim is a dictator - he's concerned with maintaining power, and getting his country wiped off the face of the earth would be counterproductive for him.

I saw something on the ABC a while back about NK, some smuggled in phones and a radio to the people but was caught. He was promptly shot; in frount of the whole village with another man that was randomly picked from the crowd...

The whole thing was filmed by a secret cammera, that man risking his life to get the footage. NK is a country surrounded yet it's lower class still live in the 1940's

Nooo. Thats exactly what they should have done. Except that NK has about 160 times better and more military than Hussein did..... (and 4 times more active soldiers than the US and 8 million reserves, 2 times more soldiers than SK)
