Broadband?

This is confusing... Some of you are using bytes per second, and some are using bits per second...

I can't tell exactly what you have..

I believe the max speed i can get for downloading is 512 kilobytes per second.

So thats... Bah I don't really know much about this internet stuff...

Edit: Ok, 512KBS is the equivalent 4mb.

And I think I have like 64KBS upload. So that's 512kbs.

I think I understand this now.

44kbps, if I'm lucky... currently at 42.6, but since I've had 40 in the past I can't really complain.

And yes, that's why I hate BT. Four weeks before I was due to get broadband compliancy in January, they pushed the date back to May. STABBY STABBY!

my pc's network connection speed is supposidly 100mB/s (wtf???)
i dont really get it...but its download speed is about...like 300-500kB/s (for steam updates, fast ones like that)
but you know theres always those crap download sites where you get about 30kB/s

my mac laptop (the one im on now) gets about 20-30kB/s downloads
its because im on a wireless network, and am barely in the range of the airport (which i have two of, because one wont reach my room)
