I just got it today. I popped it in the ol xbox and my jaw was on the ground as soon as I loaded up the first game. My first online experience was an incredible one. My brother and I were the allies, our objective was (it took us awhile to figure it out, this was our first time with the game) to get some stupid documents. Whatever, screw that, we're there to kill and maim. We charge up the middle of the hill, his fire team in tow, my rifle team in the lead. All this time we're reading our manuals learning how to control our squads when I randomly click the left trigger and learn to move people. Awesome, were in the game. I move against a wall, my squad hits the wall just after I do, just in time to see a fascist nazi pig running across the other end of the ally. Chaos ensues as my brother orders his team to supress those biotches (another recently learned tactic), and I order my squad to tag along with me around the building, in an effort to flank them. The enemies must have been communicating very well, or just very experienced, because as I came across the edge of the building to the left of the ally firefight I'm already getting grenaded and the enemy squads trained on me. Well shit, we bust ass back to the ally and lie in wait. Its about this time I realize that we have grenades too, so we throw them down the ally and take out an entire one of their squads, with a combination of our spressing fire, and charge forward. We end up flanking the other enemy squad, and annihilating them. My brother ran, grabbed the documents, and after being harassed by both of the respawned teams, my team managed to cover him well enough and we made it. We had won, and it was one of the most refreshing and worthwhile victories I'd ever played.

The way I describe it makes it sound like some run of the mill game, something like CS or DOD. Let me tell you, this is much much different and its one of the most satisfying games I've purchased for my xbox. This things Live play seriously beats Halo 2. I'm off to play, I hope you guys pick this up, its some FUN shit. I dont know about the campaign, but multiplayer justifies the purchase, you cant go wrong. I'm off to play, my live name is MYWETBACK.

Yeah, I've been following this game for a while. It seems pretty dynamic in how you approach every firefight. Im going to pick it up for the PC when it comes out. The game has ragdolls right?

well I remember watching those horrible hollacust movies where the Jews were gassed and starved by the thousands every day.
Every Jew were like living skeletons, borderline starved completely to death. They would throw hundreds of them at a time all into an enormous pit and burn them alive. Tell me that isn't ****ing sick. There is no greater pain in this world than being burned.
Trust me I had 3rd degree burns on my foot, in between my toes, and that was about 10000 times more painfull than when the end of my finger was cut nearly off, was all mangled and had to be sewed up so it didn't fall off.

The Jews were experimented on like lab rats, they tried to remove any kind of reproductive means from women, etc., etc., they wouldn't even let you kill yourself.

The way I described it is a nice holiday compared to how it really was.

Assuming the circumstances, his squad trying to take enemy top secret documents, and pitted against an elite enemy who knew tactics well, one could say these were SS.
So yes, Nazi pig dogs. May they die a slow death. No sympathy for the enemy.


In the PC version in multiplayer, does each person command a team like that? Or does it go like Battlefield style individual control?

I don't see how referring to CG Axis soldiers as Nazi's can possibly be worse than embracing a game where you kill innocent German recruits forced into the army via conscriptive rulings. In the context of gh0st's game-related statement (and in keeping with the gung-ho attitude) I see no problem with it.

Where have you come to the conclusion that the German soldiers agreed with Adolf Hitler's philosophies? That's like saying that all the soldiers in Iraq worship Bush, which is utterly untrue.

We're turning this into a political debate- my problem is with the people that felt the need to take a harmless in-character statement regarding a game and turn it into an attack on an entire country (yes, the Allies felt it necessary to claim that every German soldier was somehow a Nazi for reasons of morale and, bluntly, propaganda).

Feel free to make a new thread on this in Politics, but I'll think I'd be agreeing with you more than you might expect.

If I wasn't a cheapskate I'd get an X-Box for this, but I'm going to have to settle for a PC release (which'll almost definitely be delayed in the UK). It is, I must admit, looking good...
