We're turning this into a political debate- my problem is with the people that felt the need to take a harmless in-character statement regarding a game and turn it into an attack on an entire country (yes, the Allies felt it necessary to claim that every German soldier was somehow a Nazi for reasons of morale and, bluntly, propaganda).

We are turning this into a political debate because the original poster made a racist statement and I felt that I couldn't let it slide.

The guy was giving an account- from the point of view of some stereotypical GI's- of his actions ingame, and thus although he may be roleplaying a close-minded grunt I think you can safely assume he meant no offence. Unless gh0st really is a forthright racist and I missed something.

Since when is German = race? Thats like saying Americans = race.
German = a country, or the citizens that live there.
