I sort of ignored this entire thing since it's a stupid idea, and the entire storyline surrounding the "Death" of Bruce Wayne is so ****ing ridiculous that it shouldn't even be considered serious. William Hurt as Thomas Wayne? Alfred having an affair with Bruce's mother? Thomas Wayne being the one who tried to take down Gotham? It doesn't fit in the known and established universe at all and is nothing other than lousy fanfiction that has, for some reason, been given the green light.

At any rate, I wanted to point out another article that's a follow up to this entire story. DC Comics confirms that Batman is not really dead
