2 rules. DOnt buy a 3200+ . For hundreds less a pentium 2.8C is even faster in every benchmark..

And if you want the best out of hl2 at the moment a ATI 9800 pro is better than 5900 ultra.

Sidewinder is away i think. I would reccommend something higher then a 2.0ghz P4, and more then 256mb RAM man. It would be better probly to keep what you have now and save up for something better.

Ok Guys... I'm starting to have more free time, So i'm dragging this thread back Up.

Refresher on rules/regs for this:
When Asking me to build a system, please include weather or not you want thigns such as a keyboard/mouse/monitor. You also need to include a price range and performace requests.

Also, I will only be reccomending from sites that have a 7.0 or higher on ResellerRatings (not sure about you UK folks....).
