Can decals (like bullet holes and blood) be disabled?

My performance starts to chug when blood and bullets build up in other games (cs being one of them) so whenever i can, i turn them off. Is it possible to turn these off by a command? if not, are there any bullet decal or blood options in the settings that let them be turned off?

I thinx there is a decal limit in the options menu.

yea, I believe you can change the number of decals that are displayed.

anyway, could someone check if that setting would turn off decals (blood, bullet holes) for me, i'd be very grateful. I havent bought it yet, and want to find out before i do

Try mp_decals "0". I think that does it, but ALL decals will be disabled =/
